Pre-Procedure
1. It is advised that delicate skin or sensitive areas may have slight swelling or redness after treatment and we suggest that clients do not make social plans for the same day as treatment.
2. Please wear your normal make up, however if you are having your eyeliner tattoo done please do not wear mascara.
3. If you are having lips or eyebrows done we advise that you bring your favourite eyebrow/lip liner pencils and lipstick to achieve the best result according to your preference.
4. Any unwanted hair can be removed during your appointment to achieve the best shape for your new eyebrows.
5. If eyelashes or eyebrows are normally dyed, allow 48 hours prior or wait 3 week after the eyeliner procedures.
6. If you wear contact lenses and are having eyeliner done, please do not wear your lenses to your appointment. We advise that you bring your glasses and do not replace your lenses until at-least 5 hours after the procedure.
7. If you are having lips done and have previous problems with cold sores/fever/blisters/or mouth ulcers. The procedure is likely to activate the problem. To help minimise the outbreak, commence taking Valtrex 3 days before treatment and continue for 5 days after treatment.
8. If you suffer from allergies we recommend having a sensitivity or colour patch test one week (not less that 48 hours) prior to the planned procedure.
Aftercare
1. If swelling occurs, you may apply ice to the treated area keeping cubes clean by placing them in a rubber glove or wrapping in gladwrap. Do not apply the ice cubes directly to the skin as this will be uncomfortable, we advise placing the ice cubes on the top of a wash cloth or similar Fabric for 5-10 minutes.
2. Do not expose treated area to the sun for at least a week.
3. Do not expose treated areas to any full pressure water including in the shower.
4. Please do not apply any scrubs, soaps or cleansers near/on the treat area. We advise that you cleanse the area with warm water using a cotton pad to both clean and dry. You may then apply pawpaw ointment to keep the area moist.
5. Please do not apply makeup to the treated area for 5 days.
6. If a slight crusting appears, please do not pick at it as this is part of the healing process.
7. Colours will appear brighter/darker and more defined immediately after the procedure. As healing professes the colour will soften.
